14 October 2026 Update

Important announcement for all students:

With the upcoming school district reconfiguration, there are likely to be several impacts to the driver education programs at all high schools within each of the three new districts. The largest impact is likely to be the ability to offer the driver education class during the summer of 2027. As of now, we are not sure that we will be able to offer the driver education class between June and September of 2027. As we know more details, we will update this page and send information out through our counseling department. 

We know that students who will be new to Aspen Peaks School District in the 2027-2028 school year or those who are non-ASD/APSD students in 2026-2027 will NOT be able to take driver education May-September 2027. 

We ask that parents and students plan ahead and take driver education early enough to finish the class well before you wish to get your license. These are uncertain times for a lot of school technology, especially outside of the regular school year, so our current suggestion is that students take the driver education class at least 5 months before they wish to get their license. Classes and range dates for the rest of the 2026-2027 school year are available. Choose the one that works best for you and sign up for it early!
