Home, Private, & Charter School Students

There is a new process for students who are not currently enrolled in ASD schools, but who want to take driver education through ASD. In order for the students we train in the classroom and behind the wheel in Utah State vehicles students must enroll in ASD as a student taking driver education only. The steps of the process are outlined below. These steps must be completed BEFORE a student fills out the classroom or range registration form.

1. Parents fill out the New Student Online Enrollment form HERE. (More information on new students in ASD, linked HERE).

2. Parents must fill out the Alpine Home Exemption form HERE.

3. Parents will receive an automated email with instructions and information letting you know your student has been enrolled in ASD and how students can access their electronic accounts. Please read this email and follow the directions. See the front office at our school if you do not get this email or if you have questions.

4. Go to the finance office and pay the fee.

5. Once your student has received their student number and their Alpine School District student email address, parents can register their student for class (click HERE) and range (click HERE).

Registrars will be in the office and able to enroll students, from September 1 to June 1. Between June 1 and September 1, home, private, and charter school students will NOT be able to take driver education at our school. Please plan ahead.
